The B-1 Lancer is the US Air Force's supersonic heavy bomber designed and manufactured by Rockwell. The Lancer has distinctive variable-sweep wings, a smooth design and four powerful engines which enabled it to carry an impressive weapons payload at equally impressive distances and altitudes. Over 100 airframes were delivered and the Lancer is still in service, fulfilling strategic bomber missions. This 1/144 scale model captures the B-1B version and when fully assembled is 31.1cm long and 7cm tall.
