1/25 1923 Ford T Depot Hack
The Depot Hack, early version of the "Woodie" Wagon, was used primarily for short hauls (Hopefully in fair weather!) between railroad stations and hotels or estates. The stark, all-wood bodies were built by a number of furniture, cabinet and custom body firms, and the majority were mounted in the inexpensive rugged Ford Model "T" commercial chassis. This kit preproduces a depot hack typical of those offered during the twenties up to Ford's introduction of a factory-built station wagon in 1929. Included are the famous four-cylinder "T" engine, side mounted spare tire, removable rear seats, toolbox and rolled-up side curtains.
