Steel CV driveshafts concentrate mass centrally to reduce rotational mass for quicker acceleration. The outside U-joint is lubricated and sealed by a rubber boot to protect it from dirt and grime. The U-joint pins are held captive by the ball bearings so you never have to worry about losing a pin. These shafts are specifically designed not to limit the Jato's^® suspension travel unlike conventional metal shafts.
